Abstract

Analysis of internal and external environmental factors aims to find strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats. This study aims to determine the internal and external environmentalfactors that effect to the Small and Micro industries Miss Bakery and Cake. Alternative strategic are prepared through SWOT analysis, namely the SWOT matrix. The type of study uses descriptive analysis. The result showed that the ability of innovation and product diversification was recognized as the most important factor in the production of Miss Bakery and Cake. Meanwhile, limited business capital and limited marketing staff are the weaknesses of the industry. The opportunity factor shows that the Government’s policy supports to the Small and Micro Industries, while competition between similar industries is a threat factor for Miss Bakery and Cake. The business development strategy adopted by the Miss Bakery and Cake through market penetration and product development.
