Abstract

Employees are the most important resource in the company because it has the intellect, talent, energy, desire, knowledge, and creativity that is needed by the company to achieve the vision and mission of the company. To improve employee performance in order to be qualified and work well one of the most important fakor is Safety, Work Environment and Work Motivation. Employees will feel secure while doing the work if, the company already has SOP (standart operation procedure) and also JSA (job safety analyst) in order to see what work risks will occur in the implementation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to know the partial and simultaneous effect of occupational safety, work environment and work motivation on employee performance. The sample in this research is employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Area Ternate that is as much as 36 respondents. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression method with SPSS 16.0 tool. The result of this research shows that partially work safety and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance, while work motivation has no significant effect on employee performance. The results of simultaneous test of work safety, work environment and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance.
