Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine : the level of self efficacy in students of Psychology Study Program and Pharmacy Study Program. Quantitative research was conducted at the University of Sahid Surakarta with the subject of research are students of Psychology Study Program and Pharmacy Study Program students, amounting to 89 students. Data collection techniques used Likert scale model. Data analysis technique used is Independent Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the level of self efficacy of students of Psychology Study Program and Pharmacy Study Program students. This is shown by Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) p = 0.029 (p <0.005) then Ha is accepted. The higher the self-efficacy of students the higher the success rate to complete the task otherwise the lower the self-efficacy of the students the lower the success rate to complete the task. The difference of self efficacy level in the two groups of students is supported by the result of descriptive statistic analysis which shows that the mean of self efficacy level in the students of Psychology Study Program is higher than the students of Pharmacy Program, that is 66,43>65,11.
